Italian Confectionery Secrets Revealed

Italian confectionery. If I think about it, then the first thing that comes to mind is our chocolate treats and baked treats that originated in Italy.

With the large variety of treats that you can find in Italy, it can be hard to decide which ones are the best to try. In this blog post, all the secrets about our Italian confectionery will be revealed.

The good about treats in Italy

Personally, I love the different variety of Italian treats that you can purchase and try when you are visiting Italy. Some of these treats, you will not be able to find anywhere else. And, if you do find them somewhere outside Italy, they just won’t taste the same.

The most delicious treat for me is the handmade chocolates Lavolio. There is a huge variety of these chocolates that you can choose from. My favourite is for sure the Hazelnut and Cocoa soft Nougat. No other nougat can even remotely compare.

When you are going to restaurants, you can choose between different desserts. Desserts that will make you want to go back for seconds. People think that we are only popular with our pizza and pasta dishes, but they are wrong. The best part about Italy is our Italian confectionery.

The most difficult part...

What is the most difficult part of the Italian Confectionery? For most people, including myself, the most difficult part is to decide which treat to purchase and which to leave. You can’t order all of the treats or desserts that you can find in one store. It will be too delicious.

This is the one main problem. Deciding which ones you should leave for later and which ones to order immediately. You can order all of them, but then you need to spend a couple of hours in the gym to stay healthy. The bad part of enjoying Italian confectionery all the time.

So many Italian treats contain gluten!

In Italy, it used to be very difficult to find gluten-free products. And, walking past all the bakeries and stores that are selling Italian confectionery with gluten, definitely does not help. While now the selection is growing and improving, coeliacs and gluten intolerant people might think that because of their dietary, they can’t enjoy as much Italian confectionery as they would like.  It is hard for those that love enjoying the treats, but can't eat them, because of health reasons. I have good news: my Lavolio Italian confectionery treats are completely gluten-free. All of my chocolatey and nutty flavours, my Italian nougats and sugar creams. All 100% natural ingredients and free of gluten. Some of them are dairy-free too.

I hope this post has helped you learn more about Italian confectionery. At Lavolio Boutique Confectionery we have a selection of the best treats that Italy has to offer. And you can enjoy all of them, whether your dietary requirement. The only bad thing is, it's so difficult to resist trying everything you see, in Italy as in my London sweets shop. This is my take on Italian confectionery and the reason why Italy is getting more and more popular for their sweet treats and chocolates like the Lavolio brand.
